Artist's Comments

This is a homage to the old pulp character character Doc Savage and artist James Bama who did many of the 1970's paperback covers.

My goal was to capture some of what Bama's covers looked like. Pretty much monotone. Savage bare chested or in some ripped shirt and usually some large object or foe in the background and some exotic locale.
